What is Bhu Naksha?
The Indian Cadastral Mapping Solution is called Bhu Naksha. It is a land mapping and management software made possible by open-source applications and libraries for creating digital land map repositories. Bhu Naksha is a digitalized Cadastral map that provides comprehensive details about a particular land parcel, such as its location, area, and ownership background. Every state has a unique Bhu Naksha interface, which can be properly customized to integrate with that state’s Land Records portal.
Bhu Naksha was created by the National Informatics Center (NIC) to digitize plot records. Maps that precisely indicate the boundaries of the story are checked, edited, and digitalized using Bhu Naksha. This facilitates the buyer’s cross-checking of plot details prior to plot purchase. The state-specific BhuNaksha portal provides additional details, including owner information, Khasra, Khatauni, and land usage type, in addition to a plot map.
Corruption and fraudulent activity have decreased as a result of the digitization of land records. In most states, BhuNaksha records have reduced land disputes and maintained transparency. You can see your plot’s geo-map while lounging at home.
