Barnsley FC Owner Neerav Parekh’s Family Buys ₹170 Cr Worli Apartments

Neerav Parekh, the owner of professional football club Barnsley Football Club in South Yorkshire, England, and his mother Kalpana Parekh have spent Rs 170 crore on two sea-facing luxury apartments, including a duplex, in Mumbai’s Worli.

Pidilite Industries’ promoter group includes both Kalpana Parekh and Neerav Parekh.

The chairman of Barnsley Football Club, which was founded in 1887 and competes in EFL League One, has purchased a duplex on the 23rd and 24th floors of the under-construction super-premium tower Naman Xana, while his mother has purchased another apartment on the 22nd floor.

Parekh paid Rs 105 crore for the duplex with a total chargeable area of 10,441 sq ft, while his mother paid Rs 65 crore for a luxury apartment in this tower on Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road with a carpet area of 7,104 sq ft.

Neerav Parekh paid Rs 6.30 crore in stamp duty for the duplex deal, which was registered on December 5. The deal for Kalpna Parekh’s flat, which attracted stamp duty of Rs 3.25 crore, was registered on December 7, according to documents obtained through real estate data analytics platform IndexTap.com.
