Full name, address, and proof of date of birth of the applicant (Birth certificate or school leaving certificate)

Permanent Account Number (PAN)

Voter ID Card

Proof of residence in Mumbai (Government-issued identity card with address)

Property and land documents (Title deeds)

Income Tax Declaration Form No. 637

Attempt Letter/Suggestion Letter from the applicant’s neighborhood resident

How Do I Apply for a Mumbai Property Card Online?

To apply for an online property card in Mumbai, please follow the steps below:

Log in to the AapleSarkar portal and navigate to the Department of Land Record.

When the dropdown menu appears, choose the option ‘issuing a certified copy of the property card’.

Enter the requested information: the applicant’s name, full address with pincode, contact number, email address, and Aadhar number.

Next, continue selecting the details as they are prompted.

Applicable city survey office name

Applicable ward and city survey number

Plot details

The number of copies of the property card you require

You may also need to provide the office order date, map, and mutation number.

When this process is complete, you will be given an application number on the screen. Make a note of this number. 

Loan verification letter (if applicable)

After entering all of the above information, you will be redirected to the payment page. Before making the payment, double-check and verify all of the information you’ve entered. 

How Do I Apply for a Mumbai Property Card Offline?

To apply for a property card offline, please follow the steps below:

Visit the nearest Directorate of Town and Country Planning office.

Collect an application form for the property card.

Fill in all of the required information in the form.

Attach the required documents to the form.

Submit the form.

Now you must wait for the confirmation SMS informing you of the status of your property card.

When your application is approved, you will receive an SMS.

It will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks for your property card to be available for collection.
